Hi, bought a new touran se family with opening glass roof about 5 months ago, started having warning lights on dash. Vw seem to think roof is leaking. Does anyone know if it’s a design issue or am I just unlucky

Hi all, looking for a little advice, my Son has bought a 2010 1.6 Touran (Diesel) had it for around 3 months, the Car has developed a few issues recently, ie: Lack of power, his wife broke down travelling to relatives down south last week and had to call the AA, when he arrived he plugged in to the diagnostic socket it showed an EGR Fault which he cleared and said a sensor was at fault(cheap fix he said)and sent Her on Her way, however on the return journey the fault occurred again, She managed to limp home and took the Car to a local garage, they did not have a clue and said it could be a valve or electrics. Hi , I got a vw touran , my clutch pedals just going to the floor , iv changed the master cylinder on the clutch pedal , changed the slave cylinder. Any ideas what else it could be ?

I am retired in Spain. I have just purchased a 2014 Touran 2.0 TDI. it has come to me with no books at all. I have asked the dealer (main dealer in Malaga) for the Service book but a handbook from him is of little use as my Spanish will not be up to it. Any ideas where I can get an English language handbook ? VW customer service (UK) are ignorant and don't even answer my e-mails.

Fuel consumption is rubbish on my 1.9tdi Touran so I thought its slow to warm up lets change the thermostat, its not easy to get to the 10mm bolts holding the thermostat housing in place so I first removed the hose, lucky I have hose clamps for that job then found the top bolt is tricky the bottom one is very tricky, I'll say no more there I loosened the turbo hoses on the right side of the engine, on reassembly I test drove it and there was no power because the rubber hose seal had slid up its fitting so you couldnt get the clip on, I did get two codes One was the MAF sensor was outside its normal setting the plug needed pulling off and reseating there and the engine was…

Just got a 2023 plate Touran SE Family and getting to grips with it. Having gone through the tortuous process of moving SayNav favourites from a TomTom to the in-built system (Navigation system "Discover Media" incl. Streaming & Internet) I notice that when I display them then they are in a funny order. I was rather hoping they would be in alphabetical order, but, oh no! Guessing they might be in order they were input, but not sure. Anyway, the question is can I get the system to display A-Z or am I stuck with them like this?

Can anyone tell me if my 2004 touran 1.9 dti n/s/f suspension strut is the same as a 2.0 dti? And does other voltswagons ect fit ? Thankyou

Hello my front windscreen wipers/washer didn't work. I checked fuses , then they worked. I thought i may have resolved a loose connection or something. Then they stopped again, checked fuses , all ok but still not working. They wont make up their mind. Any ideas much appreciated. Thankyou

I have recently purchased a 2017 Touran SE Family. As you will know, there is a digital clock display in front of the driver in the display area. However, there is no clock display for the passengers UNLESS you have the infotainment switched on... Wifey has to turn the infotainment on each time she wants to see the time, or she has to ask me, which gets a bit tedious after a while. I’m sure this is the only car that I have owned which does not have a clock display of some sort visible for the passengers. Hi all Was wondering if anyone could help me to understand something on a 2004 vw touran 1.9 TDI My brake pad wear indictior connector is broken therefore need to replace the loom end and not the brake pad +the sensor that comes with it, the question I have is does the abs cable run into the same loom, Ie 2 cables travels up into 1 and through the wing bulkhead? What I'm seeing is 1 cable comes through the wing bulkhead down to a upside down Y piece and one goes to the brake pad wear sensor and the other to the abs Thank you in advance! 🙏

Hi, my Touran is of 140Kw, Y2016, highline trim. I’m looking for a possibility to do some upgrades towards R-line. E.g. Sports suspension and sports seats. Has someone experience with such upgrading? if yes - would appreciate if shared information about costs of such upgrade and if it was worth compared to Highline version. Hi, looking to see if anyone has had this kind of issue before please? I've been told its the relay and that would make perfect sense to me, but I cant for the life of me find out which relay it is on the relay board under the steering behind the fuse box? Help please . Ok I know that when the bonnet / Hood is open, the micro switch in the bonnet catch stops the 2 front wipers and the screen wash from working as standard. OK, so the wife wanted a 7 seater and I found this 2005 1.9tdi touran. Issues: Engine fault (turned out to be brake pedal switch, replaced this and things got slightly better...) then... Emission fault (did a reasonable run thinking dpf and it cleared. (not it's back.. And I've just done a 700 mile weekend) Power loss. Can be driving all fine and then suddenly it's as though the turbo has stopped working. Turn engine off, start again and is fine. Seems sometimes if I slam the brakes it happens, other times I can literally just be driving laing the road. Starting issue. Need some advice on a head unit, when I got the car (56 toran tdi 2.0) the old owner said you have to pull the face plate off or the battery will go dead, I suspected it just to be a swap of the red and yellow cables and job done but..... Haveing don't this the same issue has arisen, is this just a nother vw gimic and power has to be sourced from say the fag lighter, or is there something else that needs changing
