Has anybody had the turbo actuator with the electric position switch replaced - 2.0tdi CFFB engine code? if yes what were the symptoms leading to need to replace it ? Cheers Glynn

Hi everybody, I just bought my first VW. Very happy with it so far :) It's a GOLF SE BLUEMOTION TECH TDI SA 2013 I would like to know if it's possible to activate or install somehow auto-folding function even if it doesn't have the button on the door? Thank you in advance! Levente

HI ALL, GOLF TDI GT 2007 I'm in need of some advice please. HAS anyone had similar issues as this. Emissions keeps showing. I had two fault codes. One for the Altitude sensor and 24 on the Mass Air Sensor. I've just had the MAS changed and the high pressure fuel pump last week. The car drove fine ish today but it did feel like it was sucking air in to the engine as I accelerated. I'm think it could be the EGR possibility being stuck on backed up. Or could this be a build up of oil into the pipping below the EGR. Any help would be very much appreciated. DICKCO.

Hi, newbie here! Just got a 2009 mk 6 gti & last owner has fitted a centre silencer delete pipe. Im a bit old for the constant racket from this & would like to refit a centre silencer but am having a lot of problems sourcing this. Any ideas other than a complete new system? Looks online at least, to be same as a Mk5 gti centre box? thanks, Simon

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me as I have a faulty brake light on my golf gti. I have tried changing the bulb and I have checked the fuse but the light still won't work - any advice would be much appreciated!

Hi I’m hoping I can get some help about my key fob i bought the car the other day the key battery was dead and I changed it however the fob still doesn’t work and I have to manually lock and unlock I googled it and nothing helpful really came up does anyone know how to reset it or what could be up with it

Hi all. I have been trying to sort out my sat nav on a MacBook. I have managed to download discover care and drag it in to applications however every time I open and file it tells me update now. Ever time I click it a German Volkswagen page come up and I can on understand what I am supposed to do next. Should I delete my egr or not

Hi all...new member..new golf owner. I have 2014 Golf 1.6 tdi 25000 miles. Have noticed when turning left only a noise which I can only describe as change in engine note..or some other mechanical noise .bizarre I know. Noticed on a particular bend near home..as I straighten noise goes. Also at low speed say in a car park I can hear it. Steers fine...no vibration...right turns no symptoms. Could it be the power steering ...handles fine. Seeing dealer on Saturday but not sure they will believe me! I would be interested in views...no obvious damage. Full range of steering. In warranty which hopefully will be honored. Thanks all....

Hi all my vw golf 2010 has decided not to start or real my key since I replaced both the main battery and the key fob battery now the dash says no key and when the engine starts it cuts out after a, few seconds just wondering if anyone had the, same issue

Here is my brothers - recently sold- Mk2 GTD It was crazy and we loved it. Fully strut braced, race Bilstein Coilovers, uprated anti roll bars, exhaust, I could go on for ever but the essence is it smoked everything, and I mean smoked! Black cloud and he was gone. Anyway, here it is.

I need help ! I have a 2003 1.6 petrol 16 valve Golf Match and have been told that the crankcase ventilation PCV valve has failed causing the engine to "hunt" and the EPC and Engine Warning Lights to come on. VW say the part is no longer supplied since last June and there is no replacement. Looking at similar VW parts there's no exact match and no scrapyard seems to have the part (036103464AC). There are similar codes e.g. ending AB but Volkswagen say they are not compatible. Can anyone help as it seems madness to scrap a perfectly good car for the sake of a £40 plastic valve ! Opening the oil filler allows the engine to run fine !

Hi guys, Bit of a newbie question, but try as I might, I can't get the dust covered off the back of my headlight units. I know you're meant to turn it one way, but I've tried (both directions) and they will not budge. I've got a AFS Bend lighting error on my mk7 Golf. Reading up, most people say to change the bulbs. Being a "easy fix" I thought I'd try swapping the h7 bulbs but I'm stuck at the dust covers. Any ideas?

Hi just wondering if any Golf owners have achieved noticeable reductions in road noise by changing tyres. My recent purchase came with Gt radial FE2 tyres which are OK but the road noise can be excessive on some surfaces, but it still better than the BMW active tourer. I know that the EU tyre ratings for noise don't necessarily relate to internal noise levels.

Golf MK5 / 2003-2009 I have 2 mk5's, the 140bhp has been sat for nearly a year, great engine gearbox, good wheels, heated leathers, i don't have time for it and it hurts saying this, do i strip it or is there someone who wants to buy her whole?

So with all the mixed up weather we’ve been having I ran into a bit of trouble with my remote key. Came out of the house unlocked the car, took something out and locked it. 2 minutes later went back out and key remote stopped working!! Tried batteries etc but still won’t lock or unlock with the key... the key lights up when pressed but nothing happens. any ideas would be greatly appreciated
