A Hard lesson Learned..........Join a Motoring Breakdown club when you buy a new Motor
Sorry to hear your tale of woe! Unfortunately it is the nature of the beast with modern vehicle engineering, once the pump decides its not going to play ball any longer, thats it and game over. Glad your experience was a good result, albeit an expensive one. Roadside cover is always a must but worth doing a comparison of benefits rather than cost between the different companies. What event were you attending at the Pod? (I haven't been there since the '80s)

Touareg RNS510 Bluetooth problems
If it is a common fault with this particular phone then there may be a patch on the internet to download to your phone to solve this issue.

2005 1.9 TDI Front wiper relay location
You could try running an supplementary earth lead directly to the wiper motor to see if this is a poor earth issue

My first VW (Touran)
Hi Tony....welcome to the Club Have you considered the tyres may be creating the droning noise? Had this issue with Chinese tyres that were feathering and creating a droning noise and originally considered it was bearings. What drag car do you run at the Pod?

2005 1.9 TDI Front wiper relay location
The wipers would run through a relay for timer but otherwise the normal speed operation is controlled through the motor and switches. Out of curiosity, why do you want to find the relay if the wipers are working?

2005 1.9 TDI Front wipers issue.
Hi....welcome to the Club First thoughts are it is not a relay as the wipers actually power through the motor. However, it could be a common earth fault (loose, poor earth connection on the inner wing somewhere under the bonnet or loose battery connection) Check also the distribution box on the battery. Otherwise it may a steering column connection to the switches (lights and wipers)

Uneven disc wear
Thanks for the feedback and glad you have resolved it (for now) but definitely worth keeping an eye on how it is wearing
-
Sudden unknown fault
It may well be the crankshaft position sensor or even the system relay but if there is power to the fuel pump it should prime the fuel injectors. I would be checking the spark output and another thing to check is the cambelt hasn't slipped

Uneven disc wear
Hi....welcome to the Club It looks very much like the pads are pressing against the disc evenly as there is signs of corrosion and no sign of lubricant to ease the movement of the pads across the carrier assembly. It would benefit from the pads being removed, cleaning up all components with emery cloth and refitting with some Copperslip in the correct areas. That should cure it!

Rear right door not locking with fob
Hi....welcome to the Club I would imagine it would be best to remove the door card and see what is occurring with the linkages and if not then it may well be the door lock actuator assembly at fault

Tiguan tow bar
All towbars should be approved and suitable for use in the UK for towing. Best to pop into a local towbar fitting centre in your area and get them to fit it as it would need wiring correctly to the vehicle electronics

OBD2 software.
VCDS is probably the best known and reliable one to use

1993 MkIII 1.8CL Estate - Petrol
It sounds like you may not have plugged something back in or even the plugs connected to the wrong sensor? If definitely sounds like it is not it is not reading a vital sensor reading or an actuator is also unplugged
